Do something to help these dogs...
We are an all-volunteer rescue that does not receive
any government funding. Given that our adoption
fee often can not cover all the expenses that are
accrued from dogs in our care (including shots,
spay/neuter, heartworm testing (treatment if necessary),
food costs, etc) our greatest need is financial
support. If you are able to offer financial support,
we can accept your generosity in a number of ways:
- Sponsor
a Dog
Your donation will help feed, shelter and provide medical attention to the
dog you decide to sponsor.
- Honor Your
Dog
Sponsor a dog at our rescue in honor of your own German Shepherd Dog or German
Shepherd mix that you currently have as a member of your family.
- Remember
Your Dog
Sponsor a dog at our rescue in memory of your own German Shepherd Dog or
German Shepherd mix that has passed away.
- Donate
to our Vet Bills
Donate money to our account at All Creatures Animal
Hospital to help us vaccinate, spay/neuter, worm and test our dogs.
- Use igive for online purchases
Help this rescue by making online purchases
you normally make by using igive.com and signing
up to help the German Shepherds in our care!
- Purchase items from our shop at CafePress
Fifteen percent of every purchase goes directly
to help the dogs in our care and the rest goes
to Cafepress for
the
products and this great service .
We are also in constant need of foster homes from
people living in the Urbana and surrounding area.
If you feel that you are able to foster a dog,
please contact us at
for more details.

Approximately 8-12 million companion animals enter animal shelters nationwide
every year and approximately 5-9 million are euthanized (60% of dogs and
70% of cats). — Annual Shelter Statistics, ASPCA
The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA)
answers the question Why
Spay or Neuter? (PDF—15K). This low-cost surgery keeps your
animal healthier and helps fight pet overpopulation.
