Community Dogs

Darkkon, a handsome purebred German Shepherd Dog, was extremely uncomfortable with humans except for the woman who had raised him. He was born in 1999, is neutered, and will have finished his heartworm treatment toward the end of May 2003. Darkkon is housebroken and, with the help of an animal behaviorist, has made incredible progress in not avoiding people. He will only be adopted to an experienced owner, preferably one familiar with the German Shepherd breed.

Dotty, a spayed bundle of energy, is a German Shepherd dog mixed-breed who was born around November 2001. She is a friendly, puppyish little gal. Dotty had a broken leg and hip when she came to Waggin' Tails, but she is mending well after surgery. While not housebroken yet, Dotty is crate-trained and very smart. She would make a great family companion! A very intelligent dog,
