Rocky, was given the new name of "wolfee" by
my son. I can't thank you enough for taking this dog.. He is a wonderful
and smart dog. He has settled right in with the family and especially
with Jazz. They are the best of friends already and constantly keep
each other entertained. Jazz has even started letting him sleep under
our bed with her... Thanks again!
Photos: 1) I'm so handsome! 2) I still want to play!
Adopted
February 25, 2005 Rocky was a huge boy. He was found as a stray
by a Good Samaritan animal rescuer. She contacted purebred rescue
for help in finding him a home. Rocky was a very tall male with
a thick, beautiful, very dark, sable coat coat. He came in a little
scared, but just blossomed into a big puppy. He appeared to be
between a year and a year and half old. He was slightly thin, and
seemed to have been an outdoor dog, but had behaved beautifully
inside (keeping in mind he was a very boisterous puppy). He was
seeking an experienced German Shepherd home that would do obedience
training and engage in a lot of puppy play.
Cute feature: Rocky's left ear sets a bit to the side of his head. This is not a result of any injury or defect. It is just genetics. He has a lot of character, inside and out!
A special thank you goes out to Rocky's sponsor: Rebecca Kuk in memory of her beloved Oscar the GSD.
