Adopted
August 2005. Thelma (renamed Ruby) was a 2-3 year
old, black/tan female, German Shepherd Dog. Louise was
a 2 year old, spayed, female sable German Shepherd Dog. Louise was
a
high energy
puppy. Thelma
was also
playful, but more reserved.
They did very well with small dogs (4lb yorkie) all the way up to the big
kids. They were very sweet and loving and came to us via a very awful, but
too common situation.
Louise, and her buddy Thelma, were brutally tossed out of a car in the country and left in a cloud of dust. Thelma suffered sprains and a nasty hematoma, but is otherwise is recovering very well. Louise was fortunate and wasn't terribly hurt. She was able to come to us and get her health care and spay right away. Thelma underwent medication treatment and rest before she received her spay.
