Private families, individuals and rescue organizations in Illinois, and surrounding states, wishing to find a home for their German Shepherd Dog or German Shepherd Dog mix are welcome to use our Community Dogs page. They may provide pictures of their dog and give a brief history, however they are responsible for taking all contacts directly from potential adopters. The Central Illinois German Shepherd Dog Rescue assumes no liability resulting from any misrepresentations or adoption mismatches. All dogs posted on the Community Dogs page must be spayed or neutered prior to adoption. We reserve the right to refuse to post, and may remove, any community dog from our website at any time. Please e-mail if you have further questions or concerns about these policies.

Duke is a 3 year old neutered, male, German Shepherd Dog. He is very active and needs an active family that likes to play catch, tug-o-war, go on walks, and take car rides. Duke needs to be an only pet. He is very good with kids and has a lot of love to give. If you have a big yard and previous experience owning a German Shepherd, please contact Duke's owner.
