Fur Fund

The Fur Fund was begun in November 2007 to help us pay our ongoing expenses (not necessarily covered by our sponsorships) such as:

  • Food
  • heartworm pills
  • Frontline Top Spot flea prevention and treatment
  • worming medications
  • treatment medications
  • supplies (bleach, towels, cleaners, shampoos, ear cleaner, nail clippers, styptic powder, etc...)

Big expenses the last few months (Aug-Nov 2007) are

  • $600 in food, $300 in heartworm pills
  • $125 in heartworm tests
  • $50 in worming
  • $36 for each pack of 3 flea treatments
  • $96 in medicated shampoos
  • $10 in regular shampoo
  • $40 just in bleach

It never seems like much, but adds up very quickly.
