 Nellie

Nellie and Cleo came from the same situation. A former breeder of several breeds had run into financial troubles. There were also severe medical issues. Somehow, all of the dogs had been left to their own devices for a long time and various mixes and purebreds were all running amok on the property. Between the cats and dogs, there were almost 200 animals, unspayed, unneutered. The owner was convinced to surrender most of the animals to help get them altered and sent to proper homes of their own. These old ladies were facing a bleak future due to their age. They were in pretty good physical condition, but hadn't had any medical care at all when they arrived. We have a soft spot for seniors, so they were welcomed into our home for life. If there are homes willing to adopt them, we are willing to let them live the spoiled and adored life they deserve. However, we understand that many homes are not interested in older dogs.

Nellie is a trip. She is so cuddly and loving and likes to have fun. She loves people and is very active and super happy dog. If you would love to be loved by your own special puppy in heart. Consider opening your home to Miss Nellie.
