 Cleo

Cleo and Nellie came from the same situation. A former breeder of several breeds had run into financial troubles. There were also severe medical issues. Somehow, all of the dogs had been left to their own devices for a long time and various mixes and purebreds were all running amok on the property. Between the cats and dogs, there were almost 200 animals, unspayed, unneutered. The owner was convinced to surrender most of the animals to help get them altered and sent to proper homes of their own. These old ladies were facing a bleak future due to their age. They were in pretty good physical condition, but hadn't had any medical care at all when they arrived. We have a soft spot for seniors, so they were welcomed into our home for life. If there are homes willing to adopt them, we are willing to let them live the spoiled and adored life they deserve. However, we understand that many homes are not interested in older dogs.

Just a stunningly beautiful female and extremely smart canine! Cleo is a trickster. She has met me eye to eye on several occassions for her love to jump onto things. She likes the outside table, on top of the hot tub cover, on top of the child's play table, on top of stacked bags, whatever. She wants to be a tall lady. She will do virtually anything for a snack and likes her food. She has found treats, I'm sure the dachshund thought he had hidden pretty well! She is very playful and makes me laugh quite a bit for her free spirit and silly antics. A sweetheart and love bug this girl is a power package. If you think you can keep up with this pup at heart, and allow pets on couches, apply for Miss Cleopatra.
