Bonnie is getting BIG these days. Nearly 40 lbs. now. She has a great disposition and is very well adjusted. Here is a pic of her napping in our kitchen. She's very happy and a joy to have around the house!

April 5, 2005
She is gaining about 2 pounds per week. What a sweet disposition! We just came back from her first road trip.... She is also fully housebroken. And her ears are now completely pointed up. She's a very cute and happy.

Bonnie

Adopted March 12, 2004

Bonnie was a black/tan, 12 week old, female, German Shepherd Dog puppy. Bred by a backyard breeder, these pups (Bonnie and Clyde) were not sold out of the litter in time and were deemed "too old" and turned out to run the streets of their small town. These two little ones were out all by themselves and caught by a good rescuer who could get them into the safety of a rescue to find a new home, even at the elderly age of 12 weeks! Located in Illinois' puppy-mill-central, these little ones were given a chance at a good life thanks to the hard work of a dedicated rescue volunteer working in the heart of canine terror.
