Gala was returned to this rescue in 2007. Her new owner breeched our contract
twice by trying to give Gala away to two different homes.
We REQUIRE that our dogs be returned to us if for any reason the adopter can no longer keep their pet. This is for the life of the dog.
The new owner claimed Gala was too aggressive with the other dogs at those two homes he tried to place her in, but she has been wonderful since she's been returned to us. Arrrgh, we have a huge screening process, but some people still slip through. Please see Gala, now Lizzie, in her 2007 adoption listing.

Gala was a black/tan, spayed, female German Shepherd Dog puppy. Gala was born on April 21, 2005. This little lady was purchased to be a pet and then the man determined that he didn't have time for her. So at the ripe age of 17 weeks she was left at a shelter. She was very active and liked to jump around and play. She still had needle sharp little puppy toes and teeth. A check-up at the vet regarding her heart, hips, ears and the like all turned out well.
