[Mulder] is in his 5th week of obedience classes, and picking up everything very fast. He has been eating well, and is filling out like a real dog. He is learning dog manners at the dog park and enjoys running around after people and other dogs (he has no desire to chase balls or frisbees though). He is still very much a puppy. Once he has finished obedience, we would like to start him in agility or herding as a fun activity for him. We are very happy to have him, as while he can be a goof (falling off the couch constantly), he is a great addition to our home.

So we took Mulder (Mason) to the vet today. They were very nice, had separate waiting rooms for cats and dogs, and many of the doctors had shepherds themselves.

Adopted September 2007
Mason is a human oriented cuddly lap dog. Fortunately he is a smaller German Shepherd, so he is a welcome cuddle buddy. Mason is a sweet velcro dog that is perfect for anyone seeking a dog that loves to be with people. He is just starved for attention, food, love and soaks up any loving he gets.
Mason is still quite nervous. He is a fantastic dog, but still nervous and unsure, though very, very loving. Mason is extremely cuddly and wants to be by you all the time. He does fine in his crate when alone. At this time, we are unsure if we'll place him in a home that is very noisy, just because he shows some cowering and nervousness. He'll need gentle loving and time to settle down.
If you have good home cooking, a quiet home, and plenty of cuddles and love to give, feel free to apply for Mason.
